Mathilde Cassis Liqueur

Mathilde Cassis Liqueur is a product of Cognac Pierre Ferrand. Two varieties of black currant are used to create Mathilde Cassis Liqueur – a culinary current called noir de Bourgogne and a sweet currant called Blackdown. Currants are steeped in alcohol for several weeks before sugar syrup and water are added to bring the liqueur to the ideal ABV. Sweet, tart and concentrated, Mathilde Cassis may be used in a French Daiquiri, Cobbler of Gin Fizz Cocktail.
