This Darkness expression is an eight year old single malt Scotch whiskey which has been matured in ex-bourbon barrels. Furthermore, the whiskey is moved to custom sherry octave casks for at least three months, which is then bottled without chill filtering and colouring. Candied orange peels with chocolate peanuts on the nose, amaretti biscuits, strong raisin and prune on the palate, finishes slightly smoky and with a hint of chocolate. Enjoy this Darkness neat or as a Highball.
